Job Title: Property / Banking Projects Solicitor (12 Month Contract / Full time or Part-time ), Dublin
Our Client, a leading Irish law firm, is actively seeking to recruit a Solicitor on a 12 month contract to join their Legal Technology and Innovations Services Group. Candidates who are interested in both full time and part-time hours will be considered.
Manage and co-ordinate remediation work in relation to a loan portfolio sale for a key client, specifically in the area of real estate and banking/secured lending
Proactively and efficiently progress the remediation of issues arising on loans, title and security with an applied understanding of the due diligence work done on the project. This will include engaging with the client’s servicer provider and with 3rd party law firms and lending institutions
Prepare and provide regular progress reports to LTIS Management and to the client
Identify, analyse and provide strategic advice to the client on issues and themes arising from time to time throughout the project
Co-ordinate and manage a process for the receipt, delivery and storage of original title and security documents connected with the remediation work
Work closely and collaboratively with the LTIS team working on the project and assign and delegate tasks amongst the team, where appropriate
Act as client liaison, including the communication of progress reports on a regular basis and monthly client calls
Work in conjunction with LTIS Management to ensure that all timelines on the project are adhered to, identifying resource requirements, estimating timelines and costs and providing appropriate support in these areas
Assist LTIS Management in ensuring that all protocols, processes and procedures identified as applicable to the project are adhered to
Oversee the delivery of all project goals and outputs in accordance with client requirements and in adherence to tight time schedules
Qualified solicitor with experience of working in a legal practice, ideally in a large law firm or as part of an in house legal team, preferably in the financial services or property sector.
Specialist legal knowledge and experience in Real Estate or in Banking & Secured Lending
Excellent project management skills including the ability to co-ordinate and report on large amounts of data
