Job Title: Litigation Professional Support Lawyer, Dublin
A top Irish law firm is looking to hire an experienced Professional Support Lawyer or a senior Litigation lawyer, to give support in their busy Litigation department. Working as part of the PSL team you will assist with current awareness, knowledge management and technical training initiatives, aimed at delivering quality, consistency and efficiency for the firm’s fee-earning lawyers.
Monitor legal developments and the impact of new and proposed legislation and case law and preparing current awareness updates for the group.
Assisting fee-earners with technical and practical legal queries.
Developing and maintaining the group’s precedents and ensuring that they reflect best practice.
Drive the collection, organisation and sharing of relevant know-how across the group.
Assist in the preparation and development of position papers, toolkits, standard documentation and other legal know-how.
Develop technical legal training programmes for fee-earners of all levels
Organise regular internal practice update seminars.
Working closely with the group partners and Knowledge partner to prepare and deliver workshops to clients on particular topics.
Preparing legal updates and other knowledge materials for clients.
You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Lawyer with 6+ years’ PQE gained from a reputable firm within Litigation
You will have excellent research skills and demonstrated interest in learning and development and design and delivery skills
You will be commercially aware with a good understanding of business issues faced by clients
You will have excellent written and communication skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment
