Innovative and technology focused top firm in Dublin is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer to support the FS Regulatory Practice.

In this role you will work closely with the business leaders, including Partners and Knowledge team and it requires constant communication and research to ensure the knowledge base it at the very top level at all times. This is an opportunity for an experienced lawyer to share their wealth of knowledge of the Financial Services Regulation industry and to continue to develop but within a less demanding support role.
Monitoring new and proposed relevant Irish and EU legislation and case law
Support and advice the FS Regulatory Practice
Producing internal current awareness bulletins for firm-wide circulation
Assessing the implications of relevant legal and regulatory developments for practice
Contributing to development of “house views” and agreed positions on technical issues
Assisting with the production of briefings papers and presentations for clients
Developing and managing collections of valuable knowhow within the asset management and investment fund industry
Developing, reviewing and updating precedents and practice tools on an ongoing basis
Designing and delivering training materials
Communicating know how and precedent developments to the firm
Identifying key legal developments of interest to clients
Assisting in research, drafting and the production of the content for online delivery
Harnessing firm resources to deliver content to the website in a timely fashion to strict deadlines
You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Lawyer with at least 7 years’ experience in private practice, preferably gained in a large firm
An in depth understanding of the financial services regulatory environment
You will have excellent research skills and comprehensive understanding of legislative process in EU and Ireland
You will be commercially aware with a good understanding of business issues faced by clients
A target-driven individual with strong organisational and project management skills will suit this role
You will have a deep appreciation of the importance of effective knowledge management in a law firm
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills with a track record of presenting to a senior level
