Our client a leading international law firm is seeking to recruit an Energy and Projects Lawyer to join their leading team in Dublin.
The role sits within the Energy and Projects team which serves the all-island energy and infrastructure sectors. The role will therefore include an element of travel cross the all-island market on interesting and high value energy, infrastructure and projects sector work.
This is a client-facing role, where experience of energy/infrastructure projects and/or regulatory/licensing work would be of benefit but not essential. The role will involve the following:
A wide range of high profile and high value transactional and advisory work focused on the renewable energy, conventional power, gas and electricity networks, interconnectors, storage/flexible assets and oil and gas transactions
In the infrastructure sector, the role will extend to a wide variety of projects across transport (rail and motorways), social housing and health
Market leading work in project finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and energy trading work
Advise on, licensing and regulation, consenting and project development work
Undertaking business development and marketing activities
A qualified Solicitor with 4 years PQE in a leading commercial firm
Banking experience, with experience in energy important but not essential
Interest and enthusiasm for both transactional and regulatory work
Technically excellent and commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development
A team player with a strong, commercial and client focussed approach
A strong academic background with excellent communication and organisational skills
