Job Title: Employment Lawyers, 2 - 4 Years PQE, London
Our client, an international law firm is currently recruiting for an Employment Lawyer with 2 to 4 years PQE to join their team in London.
Highly motivated and competent with a broad employment practice and a flexible approach
Essential: (i) M&A transaction support (public, private, joint ventures, reorganizations, cross-border, large-scale); (ii) standalone employment advice; and (iii) PE-style management equity plans.
Not essential but preferable: (i) other types of incentive arrangements; (ii) regulatory remuneration; and (iii) pensions.
Not required: (i) contentious experience beyond settlement agreements; or (ii) immigration experience.
Having a broad range of experience in a diverse range of transactions is key, as well as having a flexible mindset and being prepared to expand your practice beyond the typical limits of an employment practice at a traditional English firm.
A confident drafter including in respect of the corporate documents required to implement a PE-style management equity plan.
Being agile and able to juggle multiple short and long-term matters concurrently.
Being able to coordinate large scale cross-border transactions with colleagues in other offices and local counsel.
Able to run aspects of a deal autonomously and supervise juniors.
Accustomed to working in a small team/ US law firm experience is preferable but not essential (no PSL for the group so being able to independently stay on top of key developments is also beneficial).
