Our client a leading law firm is seeking a Construction Solicitor to join their highly regarded Construction and Engineering team.

The firm’s construction practice is long-established and widely acknowledged as one of the leading construction practices in Ireland. The team offers leading advice on both contentious and non-contentious construction matters on issues arising throughout all stages of construction/engineering projects.
The team advising on all stages of construction projects and PPPs from inception, planning, procurement and construction through to completion.
Drafting, advising on and negotiating development agreements, key construction contracts and consultant appointments on behalf of both public and private sector clients for commercial developments, wind farms, energy projects, and residential developments
Advising on all local and international industry standard forms of construction and infrastructure contracts including contract specific insurance requirements, risk allocation and limitation of liability
Advising on current legislation and regulatory requirements relevant to the construction industry
Drafting, advising on and negotiating performance bonds, collateral warranties and supporting documentation for development agreements and construction contracts
Carrying out legal due diligence and advising on construction documentation for existing and prospective construction projects on behalf of funders, investors, purchasers, and developers
Qualified Solicitor in a Common Law Jurisdiction
2+ years’ PQE and with proven experience in construction law
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Superb attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
