Our Client a leading law firm is seeking to recruit a Construction Solicitor to join their Construction and Projects team. Candidates who have qualified in 2018 and have experience in working in Banking or Corporate Law and wish to develop their career in Construction Law will be considered.

The successful candidate will advise a range of top-tier funder, developer, and contractor clients on construction and projects matters.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all forms of standard and bespoke construction contracts both Irish and International;
Projects transaction work including PPP and project finance in all sectors;
Providing clear, concise, and commercially-focussed legal advice to clients in all assigned construction law matters;
Participating in the firm’s internal knowledge-exchange and generation programmes;
Newly qualified to 5 years years post-qualification experience as a projects and/or construction lawyer, ideally within a leading law firm in Ireland or England;
Newly qualified to 1 year PQE candidates with experience in corporate or banking law with a strong interest in moving into construction law.
A personal interest in and enthusiasm for projects and construction;
Expertise in construction law;
Experience of drafting and negotiating construction and project agreements, professional appointments, collateral warranties, bonds, etc., including experience in drafting project/Public Private Partnership documents.
A strong academic background in law, in addition to excellent written communication and drafting skills;
Outstanding technical skills in all areas of construction law, and in particular in drafting bespoke suites of project documents;
The ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues, and work well in a team environment;
