An international law firm with ambitious growth plans to extend the practice is seeking a leading Immigration & Employment Lawyer to join the firm in Dublin. The firm is building upon existing relationships and hope to provide proactive and strategic advice on all aspects of the employment relationship and immigration law. This opportunity suits an ambitious lawyer with an interest to bring their practice to an international platform.
You will build a practice and a team and advise corporate and individual clients in various industries on all types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications and provide extensive planning and guidance throughout the immigration process.
You will most likely also have expertise in employment law and advise on issues arising throughout the life cycle of the employment relationship, beginning at the recruitment stage, including interviews, employment contracts, handbooks and policies. You will assist clients on a wide array of employment matters from bullying and harassment, contracts, health and safety, data protection, industrial relations etc. You will also advise on discipline and dismissal issues and on terminations of employment, including the negotiation of severance packages and unfair dismissal.
