A successful law firm with ambitious growth plans to extend the practice is seeking a leading Employment Lawyer to join the firm. The firm is building upon existing relationships and hope to provide proactive and strategic advice on all aspects of the employment relationship. This opportunity suits an ambitious employment lawyer with the highest level of ethics and a drive to deliver excellence.
You will build a practice and a team and advise clients on legal issues arising throughout the life cycle of the employment relationship, beginning at the recruitment stage, including interviews, employment contracts, handbooks and policies.
You will assist clients on a wide array of employment matters from bullying and harassment, contracts, health and safety, data protection, industrial relations etc.
You will also advise on discipline and dismissal issues and on terminations of employment, including the negotiation of severance packages and unfair dismissal.
