Our client, an international technology organisation is looking to appoint an in-house Legal Counsel on an interim basis to support during a busy period of development. This is a maternity leave assignment, based at their European HQ in Dublin.
A varied role with the opportunity to get involved in a wide scope of legal responsibilities, the position will have an initial strong focus on commercial law, commercial contracts/agreements and negotiation across a range of services.
Reviewing, negotiating and drafting complex contracts/agreements, including software/technology licences
Advising on legal queries and supporting the wider business across a broad range of matters, including general strategies and/or dispute resolution
Acting as a trusted advisor on legal issues at all levels within the organisation, including significant interaction with the executive team/board level
A qualified attorney/lawyer/solicitor with around 3-5 years’ PQE, ideally within an international environment (either in-house or from a law firm)
Flexible, with a ‘hands-on’ approach, ability to work well in a busy environment
Well organised, strong communication and interpersonal skills, familiar with an international culture, working across multiple jurisdictions
Ideally available at short notice and keen to work on an interim assignment basis
